Wireless Subwoofer?

Thread Starter
Ok, I might sound crazy but...... I have yet to see one so i decided mabye OCN can help me out a WIRELESS subwoofer..... Its going to be used outdoors, and running a wire for it would truelly be a pain in the ass.... Has anyone seen or heard of one? ( Yes i know I am losing sound quality with wireless )

I actually have never heard of them but a quick search brings up some results.

Polk makes one:http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...5%28ME%29.aspx
But it's only 200 watts and only goes to 36 Hz, probably not enough for an outdoor party. It also still needs a connection to a power wall outlet.
Maybe someone else on the forums has some better ideas.

Thanks man, i appreciate the look.... That actually might be enough, but then again outdoor audio is one of the trickiest things -_- always so hard to make it sound GOOD. Not looking to throw big parties with it, thats what a DJ is for ;] But i wonder how it sounds.....

What about this?

http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Audioengine-W1

You could turn any sub into a wireless speaker with that.

Unless its a free air sub, doubt it will sound remotely good.
