Epic problem.

Thread Starter
Alright so I have a MSI 890FXA-GD65, but now the bios won't let me save any overclocking settings, and now boots my 955 at 1.48v, 15.5 Multi (gives me 100mhz less than stock)

This is major problem because I used to be able, and now I can't even run my CPU at stock.

This all happened within a simple reboot.
i mean like, upon saving, the thing just shuts off. The board is 2 weeks old.

Any help is cool,

i tried reseting CMOS.

download msi live update and install the latest bios.

make sure you turn off all other programs as updating bios in windows can be dangerous.

if youre not comfortable doing that you could try manual installtion using usb key

heres the address bro

Only seems to "crash" down if I set the FSB to the ussual 260. 20multi and 1.45v doesnt crash it. Any idea? of MSI's "features"?

Even 211 fsb just crashs.

EDIT : I think its my PSU. Seems like sounds come from my psu when it shuts off in bios.

EDIT2 : Flashed to 18.3 no difference.

EDIT3 : Now it sometimes saves properly, but doesnt get to Windows, what is wrong? It was at 4ghz like 15minutes ago before the reboot.
