CM Storm Inferno Cherry Modded Switches

Yea so with all this CM Spawn anticipation and i just got done modding my CM inferno thought you guys would like to see.

So yea what's so special about an old cm mouse no one cares about? it's got cherry switches, from what i've read the switches in mice usually omron switches(i'm not a mouse guy) have a lot of force needed to activate, a short throw of 70g, plus they always felt cheap to me so i wanted cherries in my mouse. Also i've been having massive index finger pain from the mouse so i needed a solution.

I already modded my deathaddler and posted somewhere here, so now i modded my main mouse.

If you notice i'm sacrificing the 2 macro buttons that make the CM Storm Inferno worth a damn, and the other macro buttons (the cluster of 3) are pretty worthless anyway, plus the CM Storm macro software is clunky and horrible, in short i'm just used to the mouse.

so a bit of dremeling, a bit of measuring, solder and hotglue gun and you have two cherry switches in here.

Ok, you gaming ppl, i put in a ghetto cherry red for left click (brown spring, black stem) the "tactile" bump on the brown was actually getting annoying since i use left click so much, but i left the right click as a brown.

You guys should really try this for gaming, i mean the activation is short and smooth, basically if you "game" with cherry blacks or cherry reds, why wouldn't you want your mouse to have the same "godly" switches instead of the cheap omron crap? (i don't game on pc btw, i have motion sickness)

*edit
i'm using c/x because they are "low profile" keycaps, for instance if you measure the keycaps "Q" will be higher than "C" and i just wanted it to be low.

i think only cherry switch lovers would really like this, or those that suffer from mouse click pains.

yea i made a microsoft ergonomic 4k, tenkeyless and put cherry browns in them, it's really ugly, but as far as i know the only one around (aside from my second version) and types like a charm. (microsoft ergonomic 4k is a great ergonomic keyboard, just made out of nasty feeling rubber domes, so mod it with cherries and it's the best of both worlds)
I tried to make the cm inferno less ugly of a mod.
