No signal coming through.

Thread Starter
Earlier while playing a video game my monitor went all black. I tried restarting it and when it booted into windows I heard the startup sound but saw nothing. Now I admit I had no anti virus or malware protection on my computer.

I can't even use ctrl alt del. How screwed am I and how do I fix this?

I also switched the motherboard cpu and ram to an older setup I have. This did not solve anything. I still cant load into bios.

Another thing to note. When I turn off my monitor and turn it back on it makes a stacy staticy hiss. It shows the logo and then goes directly into no input found. With the tower running the monitors light changes from orange to blue like it normally would when the computer is started. It never shows an image though.

Help please

Do you have a spare graphics card or onboard graphics you could try with your card removed?

Malware wouldn't cause this serious of an issue. It is VERY rare for malware to affect your computer prior to booting in to an operating system.

Have you tried a different monitor? And a different VGA cable? I think that is your issue if I am understanding this correctly.
