WIN7 64bit, I5 2500K, 16GB Ram, SSD (on Sandforce). MB drivers - the most recent, NV - also (275.33 as I remember). I'll try reinstalling. Games are doing fine, but I don't like the fact that sth is not so good, as it should be

sth.. Sonic the Hedgehog?

Ok, sidenote, welcome Colin. Please go into your control panel, and set up your Main System information. (here's a shortcut: http://www.overclock.net/specs.php?do=addsystem )
It will be a lot cleaner to show us what you have inside that box.

Sounds like you have a good decent PC, but yeah, we need a better standard of benchmarks than WEI.

WEI is finniky on graphics card scores. my gfx score was 7.8 for a single 5870, still says 7.8 for 2x5870........ but yeah, try updating all drivers and make sure there are no programs running in the background hogging up resources....
