Hd 6970 temperature help

Thread Starter
Hi everyone,

As the title suggests, this is regarding my vga's temps and wether they are normal or not. Also both the card and the cpu is not overclocked in any way.

When vga is idle(no surfing or application running) with afterburner running at 35% temp is around 46-48 C

When surfing and watching videos, fan is at 47% with temp at 57- 60 C

Heavy gaming( crysis 2 for more than an hour) fan is a 60% with temp at 74.

All all the temps okay or too hot, also I have two 120mm push and pull fan for the cooling. The card is not a flashed 6950 also.

Thank for the help everyone

Those temps are well with in the norm, nothing to worry about.

Yep, 95c is the top "safe" temp for those cards, nothing to be concerned about.

And welcome to OCN!
