Hi all, I'm building a new rig and need to decide between two motherboards that I'm looking at...
Which one should I get out of: Gigabyte Z68X UD3P-B3 and Asus Z68 V-Pro...
I will be using it mostly for gaming and school work (Programming and writting essays)...A low capacity SSD will be used for cache.

Spects:
CPU:I7 2500K
GPU:Sapphire HD6950 2G
Mother board:?
RAM:G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8G
Power supply:Corsair HX650 80PLUS
Hard disk:Western digital WD1002FAEX
SSD:INTEL 320 Series G3 40G SSD

I vote for the Asus. You do snag an extra PCI-E slot that way, though you won't be using it for a gaming GPU due to the 4X restriction. And while I've heard that Gigabyte's Touch BIOS is good, reviewers have said it is not as nice as ASUS UEFI. Personally I'm in the dark on that as I'm still rocking an X58 till SB-E. Either board will serve you well.
