how about a intel core 2 duo E7500 @ 2.93 Ghz what do u think guys ??

Get a E8500, or a cheap 45nm quad. Or get a p45 board. Don't listen to the guy telling you to go amd LOL!

Better have a close look at you motherboard capability and if it will allow a FSB of 1066MHz.
Even if it allows a CPU with 1066 FSB it may need a Bios update before it will run it.

z13 a intel dual core E5700 is better or a core 2 duoE7500

with the spew of new games coming youll want a quadcore. lower end phenom II's still clock rather well.

i might also look into getting a dualcore capable of unlocking like my 550BE. at worst it wont unlock, a halfway situation, you would end up witha triple core.

my motherboard supports fsb upto 1333 but the problem is i cant tweak around with my nb voltages in my GigaByte GA-G41MT-S2P
