No idea who Zinga is. But Zynga is a software dev company that makes, among other things, really lame games for Facebook sheeple.

Told ya it was a fad.

People who put too much stock in Zynga remind me of when the smacktards who make Angry Birds when they announced that mobile will be the end of gaming as we know it.

THEY HAVE NO GODDAMN PURPOSE! There's no story. There's no characters. No NPCs. No intro/prelude. No background. No end. Just a repetitive and crappy neverending gameplay.

They're literally a time sink, more than any other genre, even hardcore asian MMORPGs.
To be honest, neither does my hours of playing BC2 MP. It's the same maps over and over and the same objective: Rush or King of the MCOM. There's no purpose or story to it. It's MP and never-ending. I just happen to find it fun just as they do playing social games.

Exactly. I was about to post how hypocritical it is to talk about those type of gamers when they could say the same thing about the games most here play.(including me). All games are time sinks for the most part. Doesn't mean they can't enjoyable though. Everyone is different and like different things.

I used to be a pretty avid Mafia Wars player, although I never spent a lot of time on it. About 3 10 minute sessions a day was all I needed, stopped playing for a week for some reason and I can't go back anymore. Yes it was repetitive but there was some kind of draw that kept me playing.
