Silverstone Raven 2 (RV02B-W) with Corsair H80

Hey people.

Someone told me that the closed-loop water coolers don't work that well in this case and that I should opt for an air cooler (i.e., Noctua NH-D14) instead.
I can't really see a reason why an H80 shouldn't function flawlessly, except that the Noctua might get more airflow going.

What does everyone think of this?

There are at least a couple users on OCN using one of Corsair's water coolers in a Raven and I've not heard them mention anything negative. The only issue I could see is that it would be taking the spot of the only exhaust fan, so it may suck a lot of warm air through it if set up as exhaust.

In my opinion, it will work fine. Although, that case IS the best for air cooling.

But, won't you get around the same temps with either of those two (H80 or DH14)? I might be wrong, and if so, someone please correct me.

I've seen a couple benches where the DH14 and/or Silver Arrow bested the H70, but I'm unsure of how the H80 stacks up to the H70.

The H80 is 3-4 degrees Celsius cooler than the H70, so I would think it's the best CPU cooler out there at the moment.
