Can having A page file on SSD cause lock ups?

Thread Starter
Ok so I ordered a new Corsair Force GT and I installed Windows 7 on it and I keep having 15~20 Second hang ups and it's really annoying. I figured I'd come to my favorite troubleshooting forum for some Help/advice before I begin the RMA Process.

Does anybody have any Ideas?

EDIT:
Tryed Disabling LPM and Enabling Hotplug but neither truly solved the problem but rather created another one...

Random freeze ups (no BSOD) just freeze ups that only a restart can fix.

How did you go about installing windows, was it a clone form your previous HDD-based install or a fresh install?

Sorry for the wait, It was a fresh install of windows. On another note I've heard that disabling something called "LPM" or "Link Power Management" can fix this issue on alot of SSDs but im not sure. Do you think I should just RMA?

RMA will just get you another drive doing the same thing.

Make sure hotplug is enabled in bios for the ssd if the option is there.

The lpm fix has helped a lot of people with the stuttering you describe.

Try disabling Link Power Management, if it's enabled.

I don't use an SSD, However.

In BIOS. Under Advanced, SATA Agent Configuration, SB SATA Configuration, SATA Hot Plug

Enable that on the ports the SSDs are on (all for that matter)
Ensure the mode for the controller is set to AHCI

Hopefully one of those helps.
