translation of description: "Programmer Aaron Bishop has created a minecraft clone using Voxel graphics, which looks more organic thanks to the use of cel shading. Lords of Uberdark was even praised by Notch himself, on his twitter."

Looks rather good, I must say!

edit: Oh yes, forgot to say: this is a very early ALPHA of the game. So gameplay wise likely has a lot more to come. This is only a video showing a small part of what is likely to come.

Still looks like crap. I don't want to go back to 1997.
It's 2011. Pretty visuals or ****.

^ Play games for the gameplay, not how it looks. If you want something to look pretty go outside.

It almost looks a bit too complex for breaking and placing. Would be neato if Notch implemented some sort of updated using a similar tactic to give Minecraft more life.

does look kinda interesting though.

It looks ok, but it doesn't have that Minecraft charm. It kind of feels like it's going to just be a glorified level editor and wouldn't have that exploration, mining, and building (and destroying) joy that Minecraft has.

Looks like building something in this game would be both messy and frustrating.

As I said, it's an alpha video. This is far from the end result.

Looks better than Minecraft to be honest. Even as a huge fan of retro games, the block-based graphics weren't appealing at all.

This looks more natural, easier on the eyes. Also reminds me of Okami's cel-shading, which is always a good thing.
