Thread Starter
In 2 weeks i will be buying a new graphics card. After looking through the best choices i had previously decided on the 560 Ti SOC as the reviews said it was close to reference 570 performance. However after i was looking at Aria.co.uk the site had a MSI 560 Ti but with a Twin Frozr 3 cooler. This made me think as ive heard MSI do some of the best cards but i cant seem to find any reviews anywhere for it. Does anyone on the forum have the new MSI card and can provide some benchmarks for it to compare to the SOC? If anyone could help me with a decision that would be great.

As im a bit adventurous, although this is the nVidia forum, what do people think about buying a 6950 and Unlocking it? biggrin.gif

Gigabyte.

Unless you want a 6950, which you could unlock, overclock, and destroy 580's with. Pretty much all ref cards will unlock.

Don't listen to this. You will not even come close to destroying 580s with an unlocked 6950.

Gb runs HOT! MSI for sure. Mine are monsters. OC to 1024mhz. Your SOC or OC GB will MAYBE clock to this, but can promise you wont be as cool....

Well for what it's worth, I got the EVGA 560 ti and it overclocked easily past 1000MHz, has a lifetime warranty, and perfect cooling. Under load the fans only run at 40% because it's so cool... Oh and it costs $220 on Newegg.

I plan on adding another 560ti on in a month or so, and it's definitely going to be another EVGA, these cards are so cheap and effective it's crazy.
