Budget Gaming PC to run BF3 challenge.

Thread Starter
So with BF3 in the horizon there a whole load of commotion on various forums and community sites with PC gamers getting excited about the game and consoles raging about non-existent PC elistism.

Anyway, with BF3 coming out I was hoping I could link this page (which I hope gets full with different ideas), to the many console gamers who are on the edge about getting into PC gaming.

See, the main misunderstanding is that most think in order to have a PC to game on you need to spend $5000... which is daft.

So I was wondering if the great minds of OCN could think of a system that would be able to run BF3 for a budget of around $600-800 (lower the better). Would something on that budget be able to run it on medium settings?

there is no way to know as we have no idea what CPU usage will look like (will it want a Quad like BC2?) and we have no idea what the true GPU needs will be without retail benches.
Until we know how different CPU's and GPU's perform with this game we cannot say the you need a 560Ti with a LLano processor or whatever....
See what Im saying?

EDIT: PC gamers are elitist and should just leave the console gamers alone, if theyre happy with it then why do you care?
