Maximus IV Extreme-Z with 128gb C300

Thread Starter
I finally setup my i7 Build lastnight but I set my C300 on the Marvel Sata 6gb port cause I got a perfect 7.9 in WEI on my 1090T build with Marvel, but now I'm getting 7.6 WEI with Marvel Drivers and 7.7 with MSAHCI drivers (Same sataport mind you) and was wondering if I would get a better benchmark cause I used AS SSD Benchmarking tools to see if my SSD was performing to par with what it should be and ait's shoot 50-100mb slower than my AMD rig.

to summarize I was wondering if the p67 sata 6gb ports are my answer? I haven't tried them yet but I know I'm gonna have to try them anyways, but if anyone sees performance gain or is this the way intel motherboards work?

Just use the native SATA 6Gb/s ports with the Intel RST drivers for best performance.
Once again...

thanks bud, if it's only thing I hate is setting up SSD with drivers after I get everything setup I forget the next time i need to set it up on newer systems, my 1090T I had the same issue but Marvel was the answer with that one, thanks again I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to waste my time with intel ports cause I heard bad things about intel SSD performance and TRIM but that was over a year ago.

I tested the intel drivers and it's yielding the same results :-/
