Is Mysystem Dying? Urgent

Thread Starter
It's my sig rig yesterday It was locking up put of nowhere and this morning it blue screened twice at the log in screen! This has never happened before I Looked into event manager because I couldn't think of what else could be wrong and the one that I keep seeing is this "Kernel-processor power" Event 35!

The details tell me "Performance power management features in processor 0 in group 0 are disabled due to firmware problem check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware" It does this for all the cores 0,1,2,3

I have no idea what to do please help!

Something seems instable.
Try updating BIOS, and underclocking the CPU a bit. or set everything back to default, if you OC'd.
When its saying firmware It most likely means the BIOS.

It is possible one of your parts is becoming faulty, which is most likely the processor or Mobo. Really not sure how a good mobo and CPU would die on you in the first place, but oh well. To test a faulty part, replace it with another one to see if it starts working again.

It can't be the HDD, RAM, or GPU thats for sure.

If you get the BSOD again, it might help if you could give the details about it along with the minidump file.

Done any changes to your system lately? Updated or downloading anything arround the time you started getting the issue?

As brobanmanx2 says, could be the beginning of some comps failing. But try error searching anything else as well - also, run a full in depth search for malware/spyware and viruses.

You can go to any store like Microcenter (my favorite in my area) Comp USA, etc. And they will test a faulty part for you. It costs a bit of money, but nothing close to buying a new i7-920 just to test a faulty part. That way you know whats wrong.

Prove me if im wrong on this.

Boot to your windows 7 disk. Enter repair mode and then open command prompt. Do a chkdsk C: /R and let it run. Let us know what happens after that. I doubt its your whole system, likely only one component. I would start with the check disk and then start underclocking your ram and cpu. If that doesnt work, backup and reload windows. If that doesnt work its probably your mobo or ram. Your hdd could be dying but the check disk should tell you that.
