Frustrated

Thread Starter
I recently bought a pair of Jvc-rx900's.
When I opened them I was a little unhappy to see that the box was damaged, but that's life.
I was then REALLY unhappy to hear that when i put them on a large static watery sequel appeared and stayed for the 5 minutes I wore them. I then tried again later and kept them on for 2 hours same problem the whole way through.
Is this normal. I doubt it.
But if this is standard please reply.
Thx.

Sounds like it may be interference.

Try them with something else to isolate the problem. Like an iPod or another PC.

sounds like EMI, seeing that you are using the onboard sound card. I have no issues with the 900's or 700's.

Is this plugged into your PC or another device?

If it's convenient for you, return them and get another pair. If the problem persists, it'll be interference from your onboard. A ~$25 Xonar DG is always welcome if you want more from your music, anyways (though I've no idea how affordable they are in N. Ireland). Strange that you hear it through your iPod too, though.

IMO yes,
If you have tried from different sources and still the same happens, probably you got a defective pair.
