What voltages are you using? Are you getting a BSOD?

Most likely need more CPU voltage.

Hmm... Maybe try bumping up your CPU/NB to 1.3? That's what I run mine at. Not saying it'll work for you, but it won't hurt to try.

Most thurbans need 1.48-1.55v on the processor for 4ghz. 1.45 would be a very good chip. Just keep bumping the voltage till you hit 1.55 (safe vcore max) as long as you are keeping your temps under 60c (62c is max safe core temp) while under full load. Your cpu/nb voltage is probably fine but a bump to 1.3 like superhead said cant hurt. I guess just bump the cpu/nb to 1.3 and see what the lowest stable vcore you can get is then start lowering the cpu/nb voltage.

Remember, not all Phenom IIs can hit 4ghz stable under 1.55v.\\

Edit: It may also help to bump up the cpu/nb clock to about 2400-2600 mhz. I have seen people report that helping them with stability but it never did for me on my x4 965 or my 1090T. Just remember to keep your HT Link as close to 2000mhz has possible.

I got 4 on my chip with 1.45, but usedpaperclip is right. Not all chips are the same. Yours may require some more volts.

You have a nice chip then
Not super rare or anything but a nice chip. My crappy 1090T needed 1.55v to hit 4ghz.

Good grief ... I ran prime95 for like 2 hours on a 4.2GHz overclock on only 1.47 volts before I got a BSOD.
