Yea it sucked, I sold it right away. And I only prime for like 3 or 4 hours and as long as I dont crash while gaming or anything else. I really doubt that chip would have last 8-10 hours on prime with those settings.

OK Using 1.5V's now and 1.3 nb but isn't that in critical area? I don't want to ruin anything

my 1090 requires 1.55 to get to 4.1 stable. it doesn't help that I have 16gb of gskill running at 1640. I only modified the fsb 205, multi 20, and upped voltages. everytime I mess with my NB it crashes me. I think it would go quite a bit higher but for the ram, but having it all stuffed full gives me the warm and fuzzies.

Well you are vdoop'ing down to 1.46v under load it looks like. But thats a good thing. 1.5v for 4.0 sounds too high. I owned 3 thubans and none took 1.5v or more to do just 4.0. But some will.

Edit: Wait, you are not under load in that pic. So under load you may actually drop in volts a little farther. This may be why you cannot get a stable OC, cuz you are not sure what volts you are at.

If you have the "CPU loadline calibration" option in your bios, enable it..

20min prime is to early for saying its stable, prime for atleast 6h to be sure.. Or, what i do is, i run intel burnintest at verry high for 20 passes and call it a day. Make sure you put the core count at 6 in IBT. And watch the cpu temp.

(Bad english i know)
