In this update I did all the following:
Ek HF Supreme Acrylic top CPU block
2x Bitspower 60deg. connectors
10x Bitspower black barbs
2x Bitspower Black stop caps
150ml Bitspower tube res
XSPC Acrylic Top
Bitspower blue glow plug
Bitspower drain plug
Danger Den fillport
This was the most painful upgrade, as I cut the front of my finger open with a screw driver, and smacked my forehead into the corner of my case (with the covers off) and cut my forehead open! Didn't know WCing was a contact sport...lol.
Pictures(forgot to really take any in process till I was leak testing):
Had trouble deciding whether to mount the res/pump in the bays or in the middle space, in the end this seemed easier at least for the time being.
Re-Used my home built drain plug for my fill port because I didn't have drill bit large enough for a 1/2 inch barb to fit through. I'll be re-doing this in the future.
EK HF Supreme (Like everyone says, it really is better 5c degrees or so. I have shin-etsu under there now too)
So after about 5 hours of work (lots of test fitting) I got the thing running. And I HATE it!
lol That pump is soooo loud. I obviously should have done some research. I'm the one to blame. In my defense I did get it cheap. But seriously the buzz from it running is louder than all the fans on full. I think it's louder than when I was air cooled. I will be replacing it as soon as I can. The good news is it has plenty of power to cool the loop. So if anyone is interested in an MCP350 with the XSPC top PM me because I don't want it!
Also I need some more fittings to make things flow easier.
