Its really not a bad shop. They recruit people who know nothing and get them trained up in 6 months and they get a good qualification and experience out of it. And can we get back on topic please, will a MATX board work?

After some research on the model, it's likely about 4 years old. Really time for a full upgrade. I'm unable to find any replacement parts other than memory, which is universal.

Sorry, but it seems your customer is a bit out of luck.

Actually, the case looks about the right size for a standard microATX motherboard. While some OEM cases use atypical motherboard form-factors, plenty of them will take standard boards. As musashin said, you'll have to look at the case to determine whether it will or not.
