Any specific needs? Do you need simultaneous G and N or just N? Simultaneous cost more, but necessary for some setups.

Yes it really depends on your needs.
Currently i have 2 Netgear WNR3500L-100NAS wireless N routers hooked together in repeater mode to facilitate a Wireless bridge to my PC from our Modem. i can stream shows in 1080p from our DVR quite Nicely

D-Link DIR-855 for your overpowered multi-purpose usage. Suppose you could do with DIR-6xx series too.

Take a look at Cisco's website and look in their refurbished section if you know what you're looking for. If not, come back and tell us more about your intended setup. I bought the Linksys E3000 refurbished off of Cisco's website and it's outstanding.

my Netgear WNR3500L-100NAS ($70 at staples) works great for my house, and we have as many as 8 devices connected to it at the same time, and i can still stream 1080p video from our DVR over it just fine. it has 4 ethernet ports on the back, as well as the ability to act as a NAS (network based storage)
