That's also the wrong block.

The GA-EX58-UD5 and GA-X58A-UD5 are different boards.
Yes they re different boards, but the chipsets are in the same place. They revamped caps and some of the other stuff, but the mountings are the same. Get pictures of them side to side, and you'll see what I mean. Which is why they didnt need to add the GA-X58A-UD5 to the list, since its still considered the UD5.

Thats not good at all, mine almost hit 65 degrees 2-3 weeks ago after many many hours of L4D2 with all windows closed in my flat ...was warm in here.
I popped on a fan which brought it down by 4-5 degrees, you are very right to seek better cooling.

Post has been read. Thanks very much for that info. Block is more expensive than I'd hoped, but I might well invest in this.

X58-UD5

X58A-UD5

They are the same. Except a few minor things. Like the PCI-E slots. But the mounting and placement of the chipset coolers are the same. ENJOY!

Yikes. How often do you clean your loop? I was just about to buy an EK 285 block from a mod here. I trust his opinion on its current state of being in good shape, but is this what I have to look forward to?
Those images aren't due to a lack of cleaning, that's because a large portion of EK nickel plated blocks from 2009-2010 have exceptionally bad plating. That residue is the plating actually coming off the block.

Purchasing an EK nickel block from the last 1-2 years is basically rolling the dice, you're either lucky or very very sad like the GPU block above.

@OP your MB is 2oz copper MB (basically heatsink) ,the only reason you would want MB block on this thing is looks and nothing else ,if that's what you want get the Mips linked on the first page
