Are they going to replace the old blocks with these new ones for people that want to "upgrade"?

Nope, they're still selling their crap inventory off. They've decided that there's "nothing wrong" with their old products.

Yup, it's so good it eats itself in distilled water with no additives. That's a HUGE performance increase over the competition.... oh...wait... no it's not.

Do other manufacturers whom offer nickle platting also have to make assertions that they're using a fabulous new platting process, lest their blocks deteriorate?

I have yet to EVER see Koolance have any issues with their nickle plating. They just dont cheap out like EK did from the very beginning lol

The simple act of announcing they are moving on to a new plating process suggests that the previous one was found inadequate. However, just like every company has to try to spin things to "look good," EK is never going to directly admit it and try to spin it off as a non-issue or a "favor" to us. I am slightly offended by their arrogant spinning of this issue. Complicated mixtures? Ha! What is complicated about distilled water and silver, which works fine with every other damn company.
