Hi guys, i am about to make a new computer build and i had several small question. Now i did my research but i just want to make sure every thing ok to go before i place my order.

So first question Does the Sabertooth 990X support AM3 cpu like The 1090T 6 core and did any one try it ?

Second question Does the Sabertooth 990X Support after market coolers that support AM3 sockets

Question 3 here is my build is is good ?

Power supply : Corsair TX750 V2 750W ATX 12V Single Rail 60A 24PIN

Hard drive : Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB 3.5IN SATA 6GB/S

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 6 Core Processor 3.2GHZ
Motherboard : ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ DDR3 4PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI SATA3 SLI CrossFireX USB3.0 GBLAN Motherboard

Q1: Yes. It also supports future AM3+ CPUs
Q2: Yes. All AM3 heatsinks will work with this board.
Q3: Yes you have a really good system in the making there.

Yes to all, I use the same chipset on my board with an older Athlon II. I'd swap the Seagate for a WD or Samsung drive, that's just personal preference though.

1. Yes it does
2. Yes it does.
3. The only thing I see that I wouldn't do is buying any AM3 cpu. The new technology is due out in the next couple months, and should be quite a bit faster than the current AM3 offerings. I would hold out for bulldozer, but if you can't then that is a very solid build. Though if you're going to be going from a 2500k build you will probably take a hit in performance. SB is 15-20% faster than previous i7 tech and that was already faster than Thuban.

Is the build of good quality, yes. Is now the right time to spend money on it with new stuff coming out soon, your call.

Bang on the buck. I'm sticking with my old Athlon II until Bulldozer is released.

It should work straight off.

The memory is compatible, you'll have no problems. My processor only supports 1333MHz so my 1600MHz Sticks are currently downclocked, that's standard procedure in most cases if the memory bandwidth is too high for the CPU.

I agree 100% that if you have a current AM3 cpu you should ride out the storm untill bulldozer hits, I just can't personally justify going out and buying a brand new retail CPU that will be last generation's technology in just a couple months when bulldozer releases.
