Isn't the UD3 particularly on the low-end in terms of Gigabyte boards? Price wise, it's significantly lower than your current Asus board. That being said, both Asus and Gigabyte are fantastic companies.
Also on a side note (not directed at Behemoth), I would not listen to any particular individual who says that one customer service is better than the other in terms of Asus or Gigabyte as you will often hear horror stories and amazing results on both ends.
Personally, I favor Gigabyte. Aesthetics and quality wise, I feel like they are fantastic. However, I do wish Gigabyte would step up their game and switch to EUFI. I would love the ability to screen shot my BIOS settings.
