Gyus .. If you were me, which one you'd pick. (Asus or Gigabyte) - Page 2

I've had the UD4, so that's what I'd pick. But ASUS boards are getting awesome reviews on the 1155 side, so I would say their both good choices. Don't get my board unless you like massive VRise.

+1 Asus. I have a gigabyte board and have had several problems with it.

I guess I'll be the one guy to step in and say I've found Asus products to be mediocre at best. Out of the two options listed, I'd try the Gigabyte.

Asus sandy bridge motherboards are better than gigabyte's. I've owned a ud3p p67, and it wasn't that great. I felt much better going back to asus.

Isn't the UD3 particularly on the low-end in terms of Gigabyte boards? Price wise, it's significantly lower than your current Asus board. That being said, both Asus and Gigabyte are fantastic companies.

Also on a side note (not directed at Behemoth), I would not listen to any particular individual who says that one customer service is better than the other in terms of Asus or Gigabyte as you will often hear horror stories and amazing results on both ends.

Personally, I favor Gigabyte. Aesthetics and quality wise, I feel like they are fantastic. However, I do wish Gigabyte would step up their game and switch to EUFI. I would love the ability to screen shot my BIOS settings.

haha... I'm actually conflicted now to be honest.
