  • Corsair Dominators 2000 8GBs with Airflow & Pro monitor
  • SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold

Before I commit to buying the case, GPU, and another CH V (selling off my current sig rig when BD comes out) does everything look good to yall?

Maybe another 6970, but not sure if it'll fit in that case. Pretty sure that'll be the only upgrade I do besides changing out CPUs

you could save some money by going with the gig 990fxa-ud3, and if you plan on adding another 6970 i would look towards a 750w psu. imo.

I m going to do almost the exact same thing, selling off my rig, except keeping one of the 460s until the 7000 series come out, then selling the 460 separately

Think you should wait for the new generation card

My rig for 2012 will be as follows

Crosshair V Formula
BD 8 core (top end, 3.6 i believe?)
Corsair H100
2x Saphire 7950 in xfire (If the naming scheme stays the same as 6xxx)
8GB Corsair Dominator GT 1866
Corsair AX850 PSU
2x Corsair F60 SSD in RAID 0
3x LG Monitors in Eyefinity

SHould be good!

id actually wait for bulldozer to be out before commiting to any motherboard ... this way you'll see the true ability of each mobo once paired with bulldozer


ill probably go with the crosshair V like you .. but i might swing towards the gigabyte ud7 too depending on how good it is

and since the hd7000 series will be out at the end of 2011 or early 2012 im not sure if you should opt for a 6970 right now ....
