I have read the reviews on all the components and have been hesitant on what to purchase based on the reviews. I want the machine to be reliable without the hard drives failing prematurely, power supply frying all the components, etc. Please help me out with this build. I will greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks!

p.s. I was planning on unlocking Adobe Premiere CS5.5 to use the NVIDIA graphics card with CUDA acceleration.
p.p.s. I heard that using two hard drives would be better for video editing... using one for cache and etc and other for storage and OS... is this correct?

Thanks again

Swap out the HCG 750 for a Seasonic X-400 or FSP AU-400.

Enough for that rig, more efficient and cheaper as well.

Thanks for the suggestion! The newegg power supply calculator states I would need a 510 Watt min psu. The 400 Watt PSU would work?

Also, Should I go with this mother board and combo it with the 12gb of ram?

GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68

Thanks again for the help!!

8GB of ram will be plenty. Get 2x Samsung F3 1TB as they are cheaper and just as good.
Spend a bit more and get the Coolermaster 212+ and the 2600k for overclocking, just incase you decide to. It'll be heaps quieter anyway.
