Any useful infor for HP S2331a 23" 1080P DVI Screen ?

I recently had the need(or should i say urge tongue.gif) to add a screen next to my Samsung T260 for extra space,...etc.

And i'm a little bit tight on cash so i'm looking for a money for the buck kind of screen...

Then i stumbled upon HP S2331a, which seems great, i mean mat screen(hate reflections), full hd(more space), DVI input, good size(23") and of course the price...

But, of course me being me tried to gather some info on the item over the net but couldn't find any useful criteria to decide the purchase or not... A little comment here and there(both positive and negative) isn't enough tbh...

So, i turned to my home for all the techno lust i have for the answer(OCN FTW!)...

Come on ladies and gentlemen, give a hand to fellow OCN member to decide smile.gif

Thnx in advance, peace out...

Most computer monitors are Matte, you see very few glossy panels outside of TVs and laptops.

For a lot of the cheaper monitors there isn't a lot to say. I wouldn't go as far as some people and call them crap, but honestly if you are buying a cheap monitor you shouldn't expect the world.

The reason you probably haven't read a whole lot about it on the internet is because it is one of those forgettable volume sellers. It likely won't disappoint as long as you are aware of the fact that you aren't paying a whole lot for the screen.

Yeah sure, i totally agree with you and that's the exact set of mind i have BUT i'd like to learn if there are any cronic issues, like flickering, dead pixel rate,...etc. I know i'm going cheapo just for a little more extra space and that's all, after all i've a premium 16:10 26" screen for my main purposes like i said...
