That's not a very demanding game so something like the 5670 you suggested or the Nvidia GTS 450 / GTX 460 / GTX 550 would do nicely.

You'll also want a 1GB card for your resolution and possibly a bigger power supply, since a generic 300W power supply from Dell might blow up with a graphics card upgrade.

my current card has got a gig of ram and ive clock it to 725 hz at it still screen tears when when playing video and playing cnc 3 ...well unless i want to play with everything at low it will run about 15fps.

ok ill get a 1gb version. but which one?

Hi,

Think probably I would upgrade the PS before going for a vid
card.

Your system is not that power hungry but 300w going to cause
you problems with any good card upgrade and possible OC on it.

Get a decent one that you can take with you if get bigger setup.
Pretty reasonably priced good PS's out there.
However keep in mind that alot of the Dell's were very proprietary when
it came to upgrades, PS's included.

You have a good monitor.

See quite alot of people sating that my psu should be ok as dell rate them on average not oeaj so 300w dell is probably good for 350.

also seen that full system power load was 280 with this card in a more.powerfull swt up than mine.

fingers crossed.
