Problem with 2500k, raising V Core in BIOS, No change in actual voltage.

I've tried a range of voltages going from 1.4-1.45 and they all leave me with a voltage of 1.392v in CPU-Z.

Heres a screen shot

NOTE, I am overclocking in the BIOS, just used the control panel thing to show you actual settings.

Please do not call me an idiot, because this is my first time overclocking on a BIOS that isn't blue and white haha


Also, for anyone who's familiar with the MSI interface, why can I NOT go above 1.35v in the CPU voltage setting from the bios. I have to set it in the control panel to get it to stay in actual BIOS.

Flash to the newest bios.

If there is some sort of power current limit in place, make sure to set the values high in the bios. Set them very high since it doesn't matter, you just need them above the stock values, usually a number in amps or a %.

How would I flash the BIOS on this board?

edit:Never mind, found the bios for the board...
