That CPU is sooooo easy to get to 4.4, much less 4.0Ghz and would eliminate 99% of any bottleneck. I left mine on complete auto settings but changed my turbo multi to 45x, it was that simple. A 40-43x multi should be a no brainer. Even with stock HS you could do 4.0Ghz no problem I would think.
well im playing at 5760x1080... and again i dun need more than 4.0 ghz for now so i keep it der

nah its not runnin stock... its at 4ghz but i do wanna reduce it back to stock cause i want it to last longer... so yeah
4-4.5GHz requires LESS voltage than stock usually. Less voltage means it'll actually last LONGER.

It's voltage and heat that kills a CPU. Not clock speed. Most of the time, its heat.

Unless you stick 1.5v on that CPU and run it at 6Ghz 24/7, it really won't decrease the lifespan. By time it dies you're looking at 20 years in future lol.

Paranoid you are!

You do not decrease the life of the CPU only if you run it with insane volatges.
I ran my old E8400 at 4 GHZ with 1.4 vcore for 2 years with no problems and it's still not dead I just sold it

so that actually means that it will last longer than it will on stock???
