FTP Server

Thread Starter
So I'm looking at virtualizing a SFTP server. I was thinking that a Debian based linux would be the best OS but I am open to suggestions. Thoughts?

If you're talking about creating many sftp accounts, each in its own VM, right now FreeBSD jails and Solaris zones require the least overhead per VM.

it won't make a difference. If you do like debian or ubuntu server you will be just fine as well. For lowest overhead use a server release, no need for that fancy gui if you're just moving files.

Thanks everyone. I figured linux would be better than Windows. If I went with Windows I think I would use something line Filezilla.
