Yeah, after some more reading, I'm starting to steer towards the xArmor U9BL-S. They have Browns.

Blues apparently can cause double tapping, which I wouldn't want during the times that I actually game, even though I use the computer a little bit more for typing.

That U9BL-S actually does have a Fn key which would be a large benefit over having to use the Shift key for media functions.

I like MX Blues (on my Razer Blackwidow) for typing and working because it's really satisfying to hear the click. I use one in my office with Ducky ABS caps (because they provide better grip when I want to type quickly). I use a Ducky 9008G2 with Browns at home because it's extremely quiet and the tactile bump still allows me to know when the key has been actuated although the bump isn't nearly as noticeable as on the MX Blue.

I watched a sound test on youtube of the browns. I love the click that my blues give me. It is very satisfying, but even with the browns it seems like the satisfaction of at least a small audible sound is still there. You can obviously tell the difference between mechanical and rubber dome. I just want to try another switch type.

I swore never to go back to rubber domes. I'm all mechanical from the day I got my black widow ultimate.

z+x+c is the only 3 key combo I've been able to find that doesn't work on the BWU, all the other seem to work, just fyi. I've also not had any problems gaming with blues, I game more than anything, mostly WoW, BC2 and, CS:S.

Although the Browns still emit a small 'click', right?

Would you mind doing a test for me? Try these keys, all held down at once:

QWDKOP
and
QWEFJIOP

http://www.microsoft.com/appliedscie...stingDemo.aspx

Those are an example of the keys which I use during rhythm gaming. Sometimes, all of them must be held down at once.

I cant right now. I am at work bored out of mind, but I should be able to do it later today or over the weekend. Thats a lot of keys to press at one time. One of the duckies might be good for you, and if you have a ps2 connection, use that

No worries. I wouldn't mind the Ducky keyboards, but they're not released yet. I'm also having a difficult time trying to find a way to get a U9BL-S in Australia, whether it's local or importing.

well, some duckys are available, but if your interested in the shine like I am for the backlighting, we have a little bit of waiting to do. Hopefully they get enough in stock for everyone, because it looks like quite a few people are eyeballing the shine. I want black switches.
