wait, why are you selecting IDE?
aren't you using SATA??

i don't think i understand you right.
it's kind of a huge run on sentence, do you mind editing it and spell check?
i may be able to help you then.

Sry poor editing from phone

I have a ssd with os on it along with a raptor sata with misc data on it

I added two 1tb caviar blacks

Both are formatted and show in windows my computer

However they do not show in the raid controller

Hopefully that is more clear as to problem

hmmm
you formatted it to NTFS right?
uhh try re-formatting
check for driver updates for your raid controller (or roll it back to origional)

HP has a program called SmartArray. that is what i use at work to build/re-build servers

orrrrrr take out your SSD.
with your two HDDs there throw the Windows disk in and try doing it through there and then just restart your computer with the SSD in.

I took out the ssd and used windows cd to format the wd hdds

It still would not show the drives in the raid controller

Also updated the drivers already im stumped as to what to do from here

did you try setting them up as RAID 0 during the install or did you just format?

dunno man, sounds kinda odd to me.
It sucks but you may just need to grab a cheap PCI RAID controller.

Could it be the sata cables are in the wrong sata ports on mobo or does it not matter
