Ok... put the bios into Raid Mode. Next when booting, you can enter the Intel or Marvel controller during boot using the key sequence they present on the screen (before windows logo and right after bios). Once in there, you can assign the drives to a raid 0 array. Alternatively, if you are not loading windows on the array, you could set it up in windows by loading the Intel Rapid Storage Technology toolset and build the array within there.

ok so here is where i am on this see if anyone can continue to help me

i changed the sata ports on the mobo to sata3_0/1

the white sata ports

i enabled xhd

i changed pch sata control mode to raid

i saved bios and restarted and booted into the raid controller

the drives show up in the raid driver and are set up in raid

also when i boot into windows and load intel rapid storage tech it shows the raid as array_0000 raid type raid 0 1.8tb

the problem is when i click my computer the drive is not shown i cant save anything or write anything to the 2 drives

anyone have any clue? id be happy to log on vent or TS to solve this issue if anyone has any clue

quick update

in intel rapid storage i see the raid

in the raid controller i see the raid

i formatted the drives by disconnecting my ssd that had the os on it and putting in windows cd to format the raided drives

both drives are raided as 1 drive when i booted to cd

i powered off and reconnected ssd

changed the boot priority to ssd which had the os installed on it

booted into windows


when i click on my computer i see the 1.81 tb raided drive woot =) also see a system reserve F: how do i remove the F:

other then that it seems to be working =) thanks for the help

don't forget to align the array
