If you want real, unbiased opinions...IGN + Gamespot is the place to go.
You argue that EA paid off Bit-Tech (which is a popular site, and a LOT of people here like it - that you've never heard of it shows how out of of touch with the technology scene you are), and for the reasons you give, I can argue that Activision paid off IGN and Gamespot. You can't deny that without contradicting yourself. Either EA didn't pay off BT, or Activision has paid/bribed IGN and Gamespot.

EA has always paid off review sites? What, and Activision is this angel child that NEVER has? Yea... no. Just, no.

You've never heard of Bit-Tech? You don't get around much, eh?

Explain to me how EA arranged a preview of a competitors game and paid for it all. I have to hear your reasoning..

Is the engine really that bad?

It’s obvious that the engine is improved between games, all you have to do is play cod4 then mw2, if you can’t see the difference then the problem is with you . . .

Isn’t it true that MW2 supports DX10 whereas Cod4 is DX9? If so, that shows improvement . . . .

It’s obviously not the same 12 year old engine . . . . (Or if it is, it was one hell of an engine)

Excellent reasoning.

After seeing his post, I simply shrugged it off. It's best just to do the same. He's not gonna be someone you can reason with and it's just going to turn this thread into just a bunch of directionless arguing.

I don't have anything more pressing to attend to, as I'm just reading and responding on the forum while waiting for AV and AM scans to complete on my brother's laptop (that he got infected with something).

And I know he's either trolling, or... no, nevermind, there is no 'or,' nobody is this stupid. I'm probably gonna go get something to eat anyway.

Can we all stop arguing and just agree that BF3 and MW3 are targetting different audiences with different attention spans?

One is a run n' gun one man army style game where a single person can change the outcome of a mission (MW3), where as the other requires teamwork (BF3).

Don't even try. There's no knife that can cut through that type of thick ignorance - speaking of IGN... I haven't been there since I went through most of the editors vindictive and snide comments about certain games and issues.

People don't like the COD series because they capitalized upon the success of COD4 and stopped any type of real innovation or price deductions because of it.

I'd love to throw this game into my collection, but first I'd have to deal with the fact that the price will be high as usual...

I couldn't care less about multiplayer comparisons, I only play CoD for the single player. And yeah, I liked the first MW's story, MW2, not so much, although I AM curious to know what the hell happens after.

As someone said here once "screw multiplayer, single player is where the fun is at".
