750w XFX vs Antec

Thread Starter
I'll be running a Radeon 6950 soon, so I thought I would upgrade my PSU. I don't intend to CrossFire, but I'd like the option if I change my mind in the future. I'll also be doing some overclocking. I'm trying to deciding between:

Antec TP-750 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371022)

XFX PRO750W XXX Edition (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817207016)

Both are the same price and semi-modular, so which one would be a better value?

The XFX unit is a bit better, but Antec's customer support may be more reliable. $130 is too much for a TruePower New 750W, honestly. There's also the just-released Corsair TX750M, but it's kind of a mystery unit at this point. Also, given the "TX" branding, I doubt it is as good as the HX750, and the XFX XXX is pretty much on par with that already.

Btw unless you've got a very power-hungry CPU and are running high overclocks on two HD 6950s with a whole bunch of hard drives, you can use a 650W unit.

They're most likely going to be DSG or PSHII. HX750/850 etc are also going EOL afaik.
