Low cinebench 11.5 score with core i5 2500???

post #1 of 6
Thread Starter
Hi all.
I've just downloaded cinebench 11.5, and ran it.

My results were: 4.85-->Multiple cores
1.31-->Single core

Now, seeing the results of a core i5 2500k at stock (which is the same than my processor), i can see that core i5 2500's are having 5.50's.

Possible cause: I'm using a 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate, and people with 5.50's scores are using 64 bit, is the difference caused by the operative system?

Thanks all.

In 64bit vista the scores are much lower if I run the 32bit version. A quick OCN search shows others saying the same thing, scores are higher with 64bit.

64-bit Cinebench scores are much higher.

Your 32-bit score does not seem unusual.

It looks pretty good. And ram speed and timings also will effect the score some. But i honestly wouldn't give it a second thought, you have a nice rig. Go play some games and enjoy it.
