You can find a 560TI on newegg for 170-180.... ATI really isnt the way to go imo... you might want to get a 6870, its about the same price, but nvidia preforms better in benchmarking for their 560ti... Not sure if the board would give you that much of a performance increase on ATI over an nvidia.

Newegg has a sweet deal on a HD6850 and Shogun 2 game combo for $124.99 after rebate and coupon XFX719. You can go up to a HD6870 for $156.99 after rebate and coupon XFX719 (also comes with Shogun 2). Your options on the Nvidia side are the GTX560 (non-Ti) and GTX560 Ti. You can get a EVGA B-Stock GTX560 for $149.99 or a GTX560 Ti for $179.99: link. The GTX560 non-Ti and HD6870 are around the same performance, the HD6850 is slightly slower, and the GTX560 Ti is the fastest of them all. Here's some performance data from TechPowerUp to give you a better idea:

Hi - I am in the same boat as well.

This is specific to certain discounts newegg has placed in my account

I can get the XFX HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870 (dual fan) for $137 After Rebate (AR).

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...20HD-687A-ZDFC

Or

MSI N460GTX Hawk GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB for $107 AR

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...wk%20GTX%20460

Or

The XFX HD 6850 is available to me for $109 AR as well.

Which one would you say is the best bang for the buck?

Thanks!

Out of those three cards and based on your stated prices the MSI GTX460 Hawk has the best price to performance ratio and it also has the best cooler. The better question is how are you getting those prices? Compared to a stock clocked HD6850 on average the GTX460 Hawk is 10% faster and the HD6870 is 18% faster. A stock clocked HD6850 and GTX460 1GB perform about the same but the Hawk has a factory overclock making it around the same performance as a HD5850.
