My review of U2211H

I'm IN LOVE!!! Seriously, my eyes are having an orgasm. I have never seen a more vibrant monitor, color wise. This is coming from a guy that has had a 32LnB650 from Samsung, a great TV for the size and a 3 year old acer TN LCD screen. this monitor blows my PVA TV away.

at first i was skeptical about the ips stuff. I'm always skeptical when people talk about enthusiast peripherals but I was in need a of a new monitor so i decided to give the dell U2211h a chance.

I am seeing on even windows colors that I didn't know were there. everything is poppy and looks like it should lol. My only qualm is with the viewing angle. I heard ips have good viewing angle but for this screen moving to the right or left more than 45 degrees you notice a shift in color and backlight. its still not as bad as TN.

My only regret...I wish i had a bigger screen like a U2311h but i wasn't gonna spend 70 more dollars for 1.5" alghough I wonder if I should have been like **** it and bought the U2311h.

Just kidding, congrats on the new monitor, currently waiting on the 24 inch to go down on a major sale or a new revision to come out.

if there is a sale within 30 days on the U2311h I will try and return the U2211h if not I'll stick with it. When I get more money later on I will go for a 24" of whatever lineup they have available in the Ultrasharp line...I'm not buying any other type of monitor but Ultrasharps from now on....i'm just that sold, I've never seen better color from a monitor before and sharpness...

although i think the 1080p resolution on such a small screen makes a difference.
