Ah man, if I had a nickel for every mistake like that I made! Don't worry about it. No way to know, that's how you learn. Stick around OCN and you will learn a lot more, lol.

Also, I love it when a new person comes in with a problem, and 20 minutes later they have a working rig.

No problem man, we've all been there This is much, much better than the new builders who fry things by forgetting standoffs or simply forget to hook the PSU to the wall outlet

Welcome to OCN by the way!

ok now i have another problem, i got into bios and now im getting (error 500)

drive beyond the 2 tb+ capcacity
or drive not be found
or all primary partition in use
That's odd, all you have hooked up is your 1TB drive right? Nothing plugged into the USB ports? Is your SATA power from PSU hooked in and data cable from motherboard?

I felt like an idiot when putting together my 2600K rig a couple weeks ago. Everything would turn on and I could tell it was loading up, just couldn't get a video signal. I spent 15 minutes rechecking stuff and couldn't figure it out. My dad was over and took one look and said, "You may want to plug in your PCI-e power connectors to your card" . I felt like such an idiot. We all have our moments.

It's ok, these panicky "first rig doesn't work" OCN threads are a bit of a rite of passage to new OCN members
