Problem with Battlefield BC2 Mouse

For some reason when I start the game, the mouse will not highlight the menus. It acts like the mouse is in a diffrent location than it appears on the screen. I have to move the mouse way off to the right and down to get it to open things and I cant get it to stop.

After finaly figuring this out and geting the options menu open to see if the screen resolution option got messed up, it still said it was set to 1920x1080 60Hz which is correct.

It showed the mouse on my screen in the circled area but the game registered it was in the orange highlited area that says "play Now".
Because of this, I cant move my mouse far enough over enough to click anything to exit the game, forcing me to ctrl+alt+del just to close it.

I have played this game for nearly 100 hours total time and never had a single problem.
If anyone knows any fix for this please tell. Hopefully it does'nt involve reinstalling it because I only have the digital version from steam and that takes many hours for me to download.

Thats odd. Did you try restarting your pc or verifying with steam?

I did both those and nothing. Anyone else have a any suggestion? Or else I'll have to spend all night waiting for it to download so I can reinstall.

I still need help with this. I have completely removed every file related to battlefield or EA from my pc and did a fresh download/install and it still does this. Does anyone know something that could help this problem?

Is your desktop resolution set the same as the games?

Tried re-installing any drivers for your mouse?

I know it's a long shot and kinda stupid but... have you tried a different mouse

Repaired windows and reinstalled the gpu drivers?

Wow im pretty dissapointed by myself. Forgot I had my display size set to 125% because I use my pc from the lazy boy since I broke my leg. Set it back to normal (100%) and it worked fine. Such a waste of time downloading the game over again.
