EVGA 9500GT Water Block?

Thread Starter
I am having huge issues with the fans not working on my card and would like to start a small loop for the video cards. My CPU is fine with the MaxOrb in it (~60 degrees C). I could use some help to find a cheap loop that will work well. Might add a CPU block in later. Any Idea's?

I don't think they have blocks for 9500gt. They are low powered. Consider upgrading cards, if possible.

I was afraid of that. I have one that has a completely dead fan, and the other is running at 110 degrees C playing World of Tanks on Minimum Settings. This is the one that I am going to consider buying (x2 if the wife lets me).

NVM, I just did a Ghetto fix. I bolted a 120mm Thermaltake Fan to the Copper Heatsink. Now it is down to 52 Degrees from the original 110 Degrees.

Unless you are also planning on a new CPU, etc., even just one of those GTX460 cards would be bottlenecked by by the rest of your hardware.

They don't sell waterblocks for such low powered cards.

I'd recommend an upgrade, maybe a GT440? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...674&CatId=3669

E8400 will hardly bottleneck dual-core games especially at 4.3 GHz. Maybe well-scaled Quad-Core games then yes. Just like any dual core cpu.
But most games still use two cores anyways.
Some poeple still use SLI setups with i3s.
Single 460 is not that fast to be bottlenecked by capable Dual-Core processors & absolutely with not a 4.3 GHz E8400. This processor still beat some low-end i3 processors sometimes. Nuff said.

I am going to be going to an i5 setup some time. But here is a pic of the ghetto fix I just did to get my SLI back up and running. Running at 67 Degrees with World of Tanks on High settings.
