What GTX570 Over Clocked should I go with? D:

Thread Starter
Hey there, I am puzzled to which card I should choose.. Im stuck between

1) GIGABYTE GTX 570 Super Overclock SOC Edition
2) EVGA GTX 570 Super Overclock Edition

They are both amazing cards, but keeping in mind that Im in Australia, I dont get the lifetime warranty that Americans do with EVGA
So what card do you think I should go for since they are basically the same price?

Cheers.

Welcome to OCN Dubkingz!

I would pick Gigabyte card because of the superior cooler & a non-reference pcb. so you wouldn't have vrms issues.

No gtx 570's recently have blown up. It is safe to say they were able to fix the problem.

I'd go with the evga card. Better warranty/customer service support. Plus the reference cooler doesn't exhaust into your case.

As OP said no Lifetime warranty in Australia. So both cards are 3 years limited warranty.
Gigabyte card will overclock better than the reference EVGA card. plus it runs at 845 MHz which is as fast as a stock GTX 580.

Thanks for the fast reply!

Yes, as I did say, the warranty and price are on the same terms, it's pretty much down to the manufacturer. I was leaning more towards the Gigabyte because of the high clock speeds and the cooler. Although, I do have the HAF X 942

So would the Gigabyte be the better option in this league?

Yeah it is absolute bull***** that we don't get lifetime.. just because we are 16 hours away. So gigabyte is the obvious choice here! I guess Ill go gigabyte then!

GIGABYTE 570 is really a nice choice, and that's why it's sold out now, maybe you can just wait for the notice of shop or search for somewhere still sell it on the internet.

I am a user of GIGABYTE, too. I use a GIGABYTE 470SO for almost 1 year and really think that they always offer great cooler and the best materials comparing with other companies, I haven't crashed the card and it's really stable when overclocking.
