Worth it to start WoW?

I've pretty much hit the lvl 20 cap for starter accounts in about 3 days and i am wondering if it is worth shelling out 20$ at this point. I am completely lost and I have only gotten by doing random quests i find. If someone would kind enough to guide me through it in game, I would greatly appreaciate it tongue.gif

If you wanted to come onto the EU servers I could help you out.

Alternatively, go to www.wow-pro.com and download their quest guide

If you have an addictive personality and can't maintain how much time you spend, don't start.

I don't understand why people get so addicted to this game. I have played it and it really wasn't that amazing.

I'm just bored and looking for something to do until school starts. I don't plan on playing for more than a few months.

If your having fun its worth paying for it. As far as a guide goes there are millions of them online. Just don't pay for one that's stupid. If you can find friends or a guild that you enjoy spending time with that's when mmo's are fun imo. When your solo it gets boring quickly.

Your doing the right thing by leveling with quests that's the quickest xp other then a pure grind of same lvl mobs but that's mindnumbingly boring to most people. If you have any questions I'd be willing to answer them, I'm sure there are quite a few people on ocn that play/played wow

Same. I only played for about a year with a friend then put it down. My friend still plays alot but I haven't touched it for years.

I would say give the trial a try and if you dont like that dont bother.

The best online guide is free. Google "James Guide". Leveling is even easier now that they tell you where to go on the map

I've just been soloing these past few days but I would really like to start getting into dungeons. Thing is though, I can't find people to group with.
