Sound card for AD700's, ~80 USD

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a sound card somewhere around $80 which I will use with my speakers and my AD700's.

It will primarily be used for playing BC2 and BF3 when it comes out although I also listen to Metal quite a bit.

I would prefer if it is PCIe but if it is PCI that would be fine I guess, but then I would need to use my onboard NIC

What would you guys recommend?

It's PCIe, in your budget, and will do great with games.

What about the ASUS xonar cards, are they any good?

ASUS Xonar cards tend to be more stable and are often considered better for music, but Xonar cards tend to be pretty terrible in one game; BC2. Since BC2 is a big deal, I'd steer clear of Xonars, and go with the X-fi Titanium

Asus Xonar cards are pretty good for music and movies, but from what I have heard, don't handle gaming quite as well as X-Fi's, especially BC2. Since that is the one of your main games, and you plan on getting BF3 as well, a good X-Fi is the best choice for you. Music will sound great with it as well.
