Halo 3 was ok. None of my friends really got into it so it was a bit boring to me. Single player was better than H2 but after I finished it I didn't play it again. Only MP.
ODST - Never finished it. Sucked.
I hate Reach with all my heart. That game sucks IMO. Worse Halo game because it doesn't feel like "Halo" at all to me. Haven't finished single player and MP sucks compare to previous Halo games.
IMO of course and I still love Halo but I'm disappointed that the Anniversary edition is going to be tied to Reach. Don't know if I'm going to buy it yet. I need more information on the multiplayer before I drop money.
I hope Halo 4 goes back to Halo 1 style of single player and Halo 2 style of MP.
The only thing taken from Reach is the graphics, it's still running the Halo 1 engine, as well as the Reach graphics effects on top, so it will still play exactly like Halo 1, just with updated graphics, for the single-player at least. They haven't released any info on the MP yet, but I'd imagine it would do the same thing; the old Halo 1 engine, with the Reach graphics running on top.
Also, AFAIK there won't be a "Halo 4", as the series ended with 3. ODST was an off-shoot and Reach was a prequel. Also, Bungie is no longer making the Halo games, so while there may be more Halo games, I don't think they will continue the story line of Halo 1-3.
EDIT: Wow, nevermind, it seems Halo 4 has already been announced. I feel like that's kind of disrespectful. They kept saying Halo 3 was the last in the series, and now it just seems they want to cash in on the series. Just seems like a slap in the face to Bungie if you ask me.Edited by Craiga35 - 7/23/11 at 9:24pm
