Oh I use to use Vsync before I went CF 5870's, but normally got terrible screen tearing from using it, so I unlock the FPS and runs far smoother.

I'm just stricting talking about how smooth say a FPS feels at 60 fps vs 120 fps it is noticable. though may not be visually? I do not know, I just know I notice a significant difference.

My conclusion, more Fps = better.

CF 6950 configuration with a single monitor can really give you that solid 60fps maxed out in 1080p. You're just going to limit the higher end cards by using one monitor... but it does future proof your rig in terms of new game releases.

It's not about epeen. Most people don't know enough about that to make it increase your epeen that much.

To use such a thing though, is just a wonder. It's amazing.

3D 2560x1600... now that would be something to write home about.

And I think I could handle a LED TV as a monitor but idk I've always not bee a fan of Plasma's, they just hurt my eyes.

I play on a 1920x1200 screen and a 6950 barely handled Metro 2033 ( yes, I know its not optimized ) and The Witcher 2 mated ( excluding ubersampling ). I got one 6970 and I max BFBC2 with ease, 2 6970s and if I turn the graphics down a bit on TW2 I can turn on ubersampling. I wanted to be able to play games maxed and not have dips.

I definitely think two 6970s is not overkill for 1920x1200 even though I'm going eyefinity down the road.
