The reason I thought you were depending on the 460 staying near idle was because you said it wouldn't pull that much power as a physx card. By "near idle" I meant at less than ~100% load.

And yes I think he would have said anywhere between 750 and 800 for keeping everything stock. Close enough
When a graphics card is only processing PhysX and nothing else, its power draw is very tiny. After all, it's only processing PhysX! So again, it doesn't add that much to the power draw at all.

So yes, it's definitely less than what the 460 would draw at 100% load (when it is only processing PhysX as opposed to doing all the work)!
